Myanmar Tribal People

With the regieme changes of Burma/Myrnmar many refugees have fled the unrest.  Thailand doesn't recognize these refugees as Thai citizens even if they are born on Thai soil, but Thailand does offer protection since they are inside Thai boarders.

The most famous are the Long Necks.

The lady in the middle has black teeth from chewing Beetle Nuts, which is a common past time through out South East Asia.  It has some addictive properties similar to tobacco.

Personally I find it interesting to see the similarities between native tribes in South East Asia and the Native Americans in the South West USA.
